n-Octyltriethoxysilane (Liquid)

This technology is based on nanoscale silane materials and provides three-dimensional protection for concrete structures through a complete immersion process. Silane molecules penetrate deep into the pores of the concrete, forming a permanent protective layer via chemical bonding. This effectively prevents the erosion of the concrete by water and water-borne harmful substances, while significantly enhancing its resistance to freeze-thaw cycles and chloride ion ingress.

Technical Features

  • Forms a stable, cross-linked silicone resin network through a chemical reaction with inorganic silicate-based substrates; consequently, its service life matches that of the protected concrete;

  • Exhibits excellent water and alkali resistance; the water absorption rate is less than 7.5% (compared to 100% for untreated concrete);

  • Does not alter the visual appearance of the concrete structure, making it particularly suitable for the surface protection of fair-faced concrete;
