Product Introduction

Introduction

The porous structure of concrete makes it prone to absorbing moisture and airborne suspended particles (including nitrogen and sulfur compounds). Such absorption will severely compromise the structural integrity of concrete, and in extreme cases, pose a threat to the safety of concrete structures. The superhydrophobic self-cleaning coating is an emerging star among concrete surface protection materials. Besides shielding concrete from erosion by acid rain, chloride ions, etc., it also endows concrete structures with properties such as scrub-free maintenance, mildew resistance, and anti-icing performance.

 

Characteristics

  • 1 : Excellent Corrosion Resistance:  Benefiting from its outstanding chemical inertness, the paint film resists acids, alkalis, salts, and various organic solvents, forming a protective barrier for the substrate. The paint film is tough, with high surface hardness, impact resistance, flexural strength, and wear resistance, demonstrating excellent physical and mechanical properties.

  • 2 : Maintenance-free & Self-cleaning:  The coating features extremely low surface energy. Surface dust can be self-cleaned by rainwater. It exhibits excellent hydrophobicity (maximum water absorption rate < 5%), oil repellency, and a minimal friction coefficient (0.15-0.17), preventing dust accumulation and fouling.

  • 3 : Strong Adhesion:  It demonstrates excellent adhesion to surfaces such as metals (e.g., copper, stainless steel), plastics (e.g., polyester, polyurethane, vinyl chloride), cement, and composite materials, showing the characteristic of adhering to almost any substrate.

  • 4 : Ultra-long Weather Resistance : The coating contains a large number of F-C bonds, which determine its superior stability. It resists chalking and fading, with a service life of up to 20 years, delivering more excellent performance than any other type of coating.
